Mirja Maier is a Berlin-based music producer and mixing & mastering engineer, specializing in electronic music and modern pop.
After years of performing and writing her own songs from an early age, she studied Popular Music at Hochschule für Kunst, Design und populäre Musik in Freiburg, focusing on vocals, songwriting and production, before training as an assistant engineer under Julia Borelli.
Today, she works from her own studio in Berlin, is part of the engineering team at Circle Studios, and collaborates as a mastering engineer with Universal Production Music. Her clients include artists such as Ronja Lou, Kathi Deakin, might delete later and ALICE DEE and many more.
Additionally, she is active with her solo project Detechtive, blending clarinet with electronic music.
As one of few women in audio engineering, she is committed to making space for gender minorities in the music industry by actively mentoring and empowering others.
